At Long Last The Wait Is Almost Over, Transformers Blu-ray Gets Prepped

After many months of speculation, Paramount Home Entertainment has finally confirmed the imminent release of the Michael Bay’s action fest blockbuster TRANSFORMERS due to hit the shelves on September 2nd. On this two disc special edition, video will be presented in 2.35:1 1080p AVC and be accompanied by 5.1 PCM and 5.1 Dolby TrueHD Lossless audio, as well as Dolby Digital and Dolby Digital Plus 5.1 Lossy soundtracks. It has also been confirmed that a brand new Blu-ray optimised AVC MPEG-4 Hi-Def master personally overseen by director Michael Bay will be used.Extras for the release are HUGE, and include:
