Loving Sue Macartney Snapes Artwork
I went to an exhibition in 2006, that was at the Lygon arms, Broadway. The artist was a href=http://www.collectorsprints.co.uk/artist_page.php?artist=Sue+Macartney+Snape target=’_blank’Sue Macartney Snape/a who has the day job of illustrating topical caricature in the Telegraph, I think the area in the Telegraph was called the ldquo;Social Stereotypesrdquo; section. I had wanted to purchase one of Sue Macartney-Snapersquo;s prints at the show but discovered myself in the annoying circumstance of having no cash to spend.brbrI have since heard how fashionable her individual prints have become with her caricatures eagerly chased after by many members of high society. I have a sneaky suspicion that a lot of the people Sue Macartney Snape illustrates have one or two of her caricature paintings secretly stashed somewhere in there houses. I digress once again, I went looking for a piece of her art online and discovered several sites that allowed me to purchase pieces of her art. brbrI particularly liked the print ldquo;collecting cuttingsrdquo; with the gorgeous characters that she makes feel so bright and jolly among the structure of an English garden reminding me of relatives getting their heads together over a href=http://www.jasfashionshows.co.uk target=’_blank’PTA fundraising ideas/a. I had Sue Macartney-Snapersquo;s print posted to me via the post and it now has the best spot in my a href=http://www.joneskitchens.co.uk target=’_blank’Kitchen layout/a. There was a restricted run on the prints of six hundred and each print was 22rdquo; X 18rdquo; without a mount. I had a local picture framing company mount and frame the print and was really happy with the results.brbrIf you havenrsquo;t had the pleasure of looking at her artwork should look her up as she has a extravagant take on the weird structure that is British society.brbr
