Profile v2.30: dts HD MASTER AUDIO

Well, Sony and DTS have really gone and done it this time. After months of rumours and speculation, they are about to add dts HD MASTER AUDIO (dts HDMA) and dts HI-RESOLUTION (dts HR) to the PlayStation 3. Tuesday, the 15th of April will see it made available here.

This will be firmware update v2.30, is seen as one of the most important upgrades so far, and has been on the top of EVERY PS3 owner’s wishlist (yours included). We knew it was coming, but not so soon after the v2.0 IME update. We were expecting the end of June, at the very earliest, with September being most talked about as a possible release date.
