Blu-ray Replacement from Fox

And yet another blog post on Blu-ray disc replacements. I know you’re wondering why I couldn’t just put it all in one post. It’s simple. Separate posts make it easier for you guys to get the needed contact details instead of scanning through one long article.

It has been reported recently that the Blu-ray disc of Die Hard 2: Die Harder is defective. The problem is with the audio - the dts HD Master is faulty. When played through to the receiver either as bitstream or linear PCM, there is no sound. The core is present, but the full audio is absent. I cannot verify this as my PlayStation 3 currently cannot handle dts HD Master.

I have not received a reply as of yet, and I believe the replies received so far have been automatic. No word yet of when corrected copies will hit shelves.

If I hear more information, I will of course let you know ASAP. Also, if anybody has a player that can play dts HD Master, do share your experience with this Blu-ray movie.
