My Blu-ray Blog Site Is Finally Launched!

Finally! Blu-devil Dot Com is now up and running. Just in time, too, now that Blu-ray is the undisputed king of all formats - which was something I was absolutely sure would be the outcome of the Blu-ray vs HD-DVD war.

What you can pretty much expect from this Blu-ray blog site are my no-holds-barred, unbiased, and (dare I say?) fresh opinions on the Blu-ray movies released by different studios. It’s always nice to read reviews from people who know enough to spot the essentials and not gloss it over like so many reviewers tend to do. I love movies, particularly high definition ones in the Blu-ray disc format, and though I don’t fancy myself a professional expert or something, I do know what to look for and what to expect from my movies - and I hate being shortchanged. I will say exactly what’s on my mind, whether I find a movie excellent, or worse than a fresh, steaming turd. I watch all my Blu-ray movies in my 50″ Sony Bravia LCD TV and 60GB Sony Playstation 3 Blu-ray player.

Apart from reviews, I will also be sharing Blu-ray news and rumors from time to time. Since there are bigger and better sites that already do these, I won’t be dwelling too much on those. I will, however, share whatever opinion I might have on these, and I encourage you to share yours.

Of course, I would like to hear back from you. I would like this site to be as interactive as possible since there seems to be way too much hostility in the other sites and forums dedicated to home entertainment. Seriously, when you go to these forums, they tend to have a go at each other - which is just stupid, really, when they should be having a go at the studios instead.

Just as I feel comfortable talking about my insights and opinions on everything Blu-ray right here, so should you. We’re all allies here and we’re all on the same side - Blu-ray, movies, and all that. You can rant about the studios all you want right here.
